Launch yourindependent brand.

Going independent means building a brand from zero, fast. We handle the whole launch so you leave the wirehouse looking like you've been on your own for years.

What breakaway advisors are up against.

Leaving is the hard decision. Launching should not be the hard part.

Zero.

Starting from zero

Your old firm owned the brand, the website and the marketing. On day one you need all three.

Deadline.

A fixed timeline

Your transition date is set. Your brand, domain and website need to be ready when you are.

Trust.

Keeping clients' trust

Clients follow advisors they trust. Your new brand has to feel established from the first email.

Breakaway questions, answered.

What advisors ask us while they plan their move.

01How early should we start on branding before we break away?+

As early as your timeline allows, ideally two to three months before you announce. Positioning, naming and a website take time, and you want everything ready on day one. We work confidentially until you're ready to go public.

02Can our website be live on the day we announce?+

Yes, that's the goal. We plan the build around your transition date so your website, email signature and LinkedIn profile go live together, with your required disclosures in place.

03Do we own the brand and website you build?+

Yes. Your logo files, brand guidelines and Webflow site belong to your firm. If you ever change agencies, everything goes with you.

04What should a new independent firm's website include at launch?+

At minimum: who you serve, what you do, how you're paid, how to reach you and your required disclosures, such as links to Form ADV and Form CRS. It doesn't need to be large on day one. It needs to be clear and credible.

05Should a breakaway firm use the advisor's own name or a new brand?+

Either can work. Some advisors build the firm around their own name for continuity with clients, while others choose a name that can grow beyond them. We walk through the trade-offs with you during positioning, before any design starts.
